Winter Wonderland

This term P5 have been working really hard! To get into the Christmas mood, P5 all contributed to making a Winter Wonderland display in their classroom. In order to do this, they created Winter poems. To get inspiration P5 read over lots of poems in advance and worked really hard planning them before creating their final masterpieces! P5 also created snowmen snow globes. To make these they used paper plates as the body and cut out a circle for the belly and filled it with laminated glitter and sequins.

After working really hard on the Christmas play, we got inspiration to create the nativity through Art. P5 decorated shoeboxes as stables, stuck on pictures and Miss Parke brought in some straw and hay from the farm! It was a great way to remind us all of the true meaning of Christmas!
